However, if you find authentic antique exterior gas lighting fixtures, they may be usable. Many shops will refurbish them. If you find antique electrical lighting fixtures that you love, they may also be convertible into gas lighting fixtures. Finally, for modern convenience, choose exterior gas lighting that can be lit by an automatic electric ignition system. Just flip a switch inside the home and the exterior gas lights ignite. If they are blown out by severe weather, the automatic electric ignition system will relight them.
