Lockers

A locker is a small compartment, usually made of metal, that can be locked shut to protect one's clothing and valuables in a public space or as an added security precaution in one's home. Lockers are especially common at the gym or in schools and universities.

However, the term locker includes in its definition heavily insulated refrigerated cabinets, compartments, and room for storing frozen food as well. Lockers can be coin-operated; however, lockers are most commonly secured with a lock and key or with the use of a padlock.

Lockers can come in various shapes, sizes, and colors. The Internet is a good way to research the lockers available to you, as many companies advertise their products online with comprehensive descriptions, pictures, and price estimates. When buying lockers in bulk, be sure to shop around as locker distributors price competitively and offer bargain prices are available.

In addition, the durability of a locker is something to look at when purchasing. Questions to ask yourself are: Is the locker's durability suitable to the goods that it will be protecting? How much force can it withstand? What is the locker's estimated longevity? And, what type of lock would best suit the locker purchased?
