Playground Equipment

Playground Equipment comes in all shapes and sizes. It includes any sort of equipment that one would use for children of all ages to play on. These types of equipment are usually found in a school playground, hence the name.

Playground Equipment can include slides, swing-sets, a tower and bridge play area, monkey-bars, a teeter-totter, a rope swing, tether ball poles, and other such modular play systems. It can be made from a variety of strong materials, the most common being reinforced plastic or steel.

Playground Equipment can also be custom fitted to the child's age, with smaller, safer equipment available for toddlers and younger children, and larger equipment , for example a complicated monkey-bar set, for more grown-up children. For the safety and comfort of the children playing, playground equipment is usually set on some soft material, sand or bark is most common.

You can find Playground Equipment in school playgrounds and parks, as well as in home garden areas - because playground equipment encompasses such a large range of products, smaller replicas of larger structures can be purchased for home use.
