Ceiling Fan

A ceiling fan is a fan that is hung by a chain or pole from the ceiling of a room. A ceiling fan is a low-cost way to provide air circulation in a room without having to install or use air conditioning.

Ceiling fans come in many different styles and prices. Most ceiling fans have four propellers that rotate and a light or lights attached in the middle of the fan to give it a dual purpose. The propellers can be made out of wood, colored plastics, or even resemble giant leaves. The styles of the lights also vary from contemporary and elegant to classic and ornate.

Ceiling fans are also very energy efficient. A ceiling fan uses as much power as a 100 watt light bulb at full speed. This makes a ceiling fan ideal in the summer time because whether it is being used to for better circulation of the air conditioning, or just on its own, it will keep the electricity bill low.
