Door Hanger

Door hangers are pieces of material with various messages printed on them, all with the intent to convey a message to whomever is reading. Door hangers are used by companies to announce new products, deals, or coupons by attaching a piece of paper or cardboard over a residence's door knob.

Commercial door hangers can be printed and purchased in bulk. Door hangers are also used by children who wish to express messages to their friends, siblings, and parents. Examples of door hangers used by children are, "I need to be alone," "In the doghouse," and "Girls with attitude."

In addition, many homeowners place uplifting phrases and don them on decorative door hangers throughout their homes. Examples of door hangers used by homeowners are "Mi casa es su casa," "God Bless our Home," and "welcome." Most homeowners' door hangers are home-made or are purchased at craft shows.
