Driveway Monitor

A driveway monitor is a device that is used specifically for monitoring the presence of cars in a driveway. The driveway monitor will alert you of vehicles only and will not be set off by the presence of animals, pedestrians, or other moving objects.

The driveway monitor consists of an electrical receiver and a battery or solar powered transmitter that is positioned near the driveway. A driveway monitor can transmit a detecting signal usually 1,000ft and alerts with a chiming and a flashing light. Many driveway detectors have the ability to record a transmission, so if you are out of the room during the alert you can check and see if any activity was missed.

The driveway monitor is perfect for someone who wants to be alerted of arriving guests, children arriving home late, an expected package delivery and any one approaching a long remote driveway.
