Greenhouse

A greenhouse is a building used for growing plants. Most greenhouses have glass or plastic panels that allow sunlight to enter, and they also strictly control the inside climate. The benefit of a greenhouse is that vegetables and flowers can be grown year round within a consistent environment.

Irrigation and watering can be as simple or complex as it is desired. Some people install timed overhead misters in their greenhouses to regulate the amount of water distributed. Greenhouses are used commercially, as hobbies, and in schools. Commercial greenhouses are larger in size and can be designed to fit all building and zoning codes.

Hobby greenhouses can also be built to whatever size is desired by the owner. Most homeowners opt for a greenhouse that is attachable to their home. School greenhouses also vary in size depending upon the need. For single classes, mini greenhouses can be used. A mini green house attaches to a vertical wall and allows gardeners to work, but limits the space.
