Odor Control

Odor control products help eliminate or neutralize offensive odors that occur in the home, business, or from industrial sources. Residential odor control needs may relate to pets, cigarette smoke, kitchens, bathrooms, cabinets, moldy cellars, and musty closets. Chemicals released by plastics, paints, stains, and treatments on household fabrics such as carpeting and upholstery may also require odor control.

Hair salons, offices, restaurants, printers, or any business where chemicals are used need odor control products to maintain good relations with neighbors, employees, and customers.

Odor control is often necessary for industrial plants that are located near residential neighborhoods. Odors resulting from manufacturing processes may be a major source of nuisance in these areas and should be managed.

Offensive smells can be caused by a variety of sources. Effective neutralization of an odor requires an approach designed to act upon the source of that odor.

Ozone oxidizers are a common type of odor control technology. Ozone is used to chemically destroy the bonds that hold odor molecules together. Odor molecules are converted to oxygen and water vapor. Ozone oxidation is a continuous process that leaves no residue.
