Patio Heater

Patio heaters are large standing heaters which are designed to be used outside to extend the amount of time one can work or play outside. Patio heaters are best used in the beginning and end of the summer months, or in the mild winter months, when it tends to get chilly earlier in the evening.

Usually, patio heaters consist of a sturdy base, a long pole with the heating elements attached and an umbrella shaped cap that will direct the heat downwards. Patio heaters can also be placed in the center of a table as an umbrella would.

Patio heaters are generally used by restaurants in an effort to keep customers comfortable while dining and socializing outdoors. However patio heaters are now available for home use and can be a great addition to any patio or deck. Patio heaters can use either propane or butane as fuel.
