What is a Radiator?

Radiators are devices that circulate hot water to produce heat for your home. Installed into walls or as underfloor systems, radiators have provided a reliable source of heat since the Romans introduced them.

Choosing a Radiator

When installed into walls, radiator vents tend to be highly visible. Because wall systems are obtrusive and more limited in their heating capacity, radiators are more commonly installed under floors.

Choosing a radiant floor heating system carries decided advantages. Not only is radiant floor heating quieter and unobtrusive, it is also considered more energy efficient. Working from the bottom up, it heats from toe to head and focuses more on warming room occupants than the room itself. Radiant floor heating can also evenly produce heat across the entire floor of a room, as opposed to other heating devices that work only in isolated spots.
