Wine Cabinet

A wine cabinet is a good investment for a wine lover who needs adequate storage space for his wine collection. Wine cabinets come in a variety of types and sizes. For serious wine collectors, a refrigerated wine cabinet provides a stable temperature controlled environment.

Refrigerated wine cabinets have insulated outside cases and a tightly sealed door to ensure stable temperature and to control the humidity inside the cabinet. A prefabricated wine cabinet is also available for persons with large wine collections. These wine cabinets come in a variety of mediums from wood to steel and can be as small as 4'x7' or as large as 7'x10'.

It is best to purchase a refrigerated or prefabricated wine cabinet as they can be difficult to build. If you choose to build a wine cabinet, it is best to use rot-resistant wood such as redwood or teak. Waterproof drywall can also be used, however use latex paint to seal the drywall to prevent odors from getting to the wine.
